About this blog

Katy Key has changed the world by loving one person at a time. If you are reading this blog and following her story I can almost guarantee that your life has been drastically impacted by the love, prayers, and wisdom of our precious wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend. She has been a wise counselor, a faithful friend, a solid rock, a constant. She has interceded for the world. She has interceded for individuals. For many of you she has walked with you through cancer, broken families, loneliness, and fear. She is someone who is ALWAYS willing to go into the pit with us to help get us out.

Today Katy is in a pit and the world has rallied to jump into the pit with her! Just like she has done for us. We have heard from people LITERALLY around the world: Kenya, Germany, DRC, Gabon, Ecuador, Indonesia, Mongolia, Finland…. We are blown away by the impact Jesus has had on the world through Katy.

For all of you who love her, carry her, and are praying for her FULL recovery this blog is for you! The Key family will try to keep this updated throughout this LONG road of recovery with updates, stories, celebrations, and prayers requests.

“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.” Psalm 18:16-19

~If you would like to send Katy a short note or video of encouragement, please email it to journeywithkaty@gmail.com. As we go through the recovery we will slowly read these to her to give her strength to keep fighting!

  1. Hi my dearest cousin Katy. I just learned from Michelle about your situation. I was so sorry to know of your pain. You will be in my dearest thoughts and prayers. Jesus is watching over you in all these things and I do so look forward to seeing you when we are both with Him for ever.

    I love you, cousin.
