A Miracle and a Request

A Miracle

Mom is a miracle in progress. We all continue to pray for total and complete healing and would love for Jesus to do it in an instant but for whatever reason He has chosen not to do that. However, just because she doesn’t just stand up and walk does not mean that she is not a miracle! She is a miracle in so many ways and we continue to see His healing touch!

Yesterday after a grueling day of therapy (pushing through nausea and discouragement) Mom moved her left leg. It came fully off the mat! We needed a breakthrough yesterday and God gave it to us! Thank you for your prayers!

A Request

We continue to seek the best care for Mom and would ask for your prayers as Dad is in conversations this morning to determine what that should be and what our options are. Could you please pray for clarity of mind and wisdom? Could you pray that Jesus provides the right people with the right knowledge to help guide us through this process? We saw Him work for us yesterday and trust that He is leading us. Thankful to serve a God who cares for Mom more than we do!

Thank you so much!

  1. Praying with you and for you. God has promised to give Wisdom when we Ask. We need to Believe He does give, Accept His Wisdom, and walk accordingly…even during times we don’t understand…. He created us, chose us, and is working out HIS PLAN in each of our lives…So many lives are being affected with and by what Katy and each member of the family is experiencing as we walk WITH YOU during these days. 1. We are praying for Katy and the entire family daily. It is not an easy road you all are walking. Katy, you are a witness to Jesus through this whole ordeal –we can see God working through you and in you! You moved you leg– that is incredible. Such a good sign! We are all encouraged! Thank you Jesus!

  5. PRAISE HIM FOR THE LEG! Now we have to get Wilson moving! Maybe he will be jealous of the attention and respond!! We are praying for all of the conversations with personnel! We know just a little about this after the experience with Don in December(leg blood clot). I am testifying to God’s amazing help for me in that situation. He brought everything to my mind that I needed and gave me the strength to go against a doctor reccommending a certain less aggressive treatment. This was a miracle! I remembered stuff and I had the nerve to disagree. I was shaking afterwards! Then The Lord gave me wonderful confirmation that I had done the right thing with HIS help! HE WILL DO IT THROUGH ALL OF THESE CRAZY THINGS!

As I read each day, I’m humbled by Katy strong faith and how she is handling this time. How I’ve been challenged to look deep into my heart and surrender parts of me that need Jesus. Thank you for keeping us up to date. Sending hugs from New York.

  15. Just read this but know God is aware of the needs before we ask. Praise foe the movement in her left foot…rejoicing in this! The path may seem crooked, but as Psalm 25:4 says Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths. He knows, we trust. And as Psalm 24:1 says The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. Your mom belongs to Him. Hugs.
