We have looked at these pictures over and over. They have brought smiles to each of our faces, especially Mom and Dad’s! Thank you for encouraging and blessing us in so many creative ways. We have loved celebrating this milestone with each of you. We will always treasure these images and the friends and family that have surrounded us during these difficult days. We are truly blessed!

  1. While Liz would not let me post a pic (she’s currently in the hospital herself), she had a chocolate milkshake from McDonald’s in Katy’s honor. Blessings on you all.

  2. Do you suppose if I post one now I could win MOST LATE?!!?? 🙄These are wonderful pictures!! We are so excited for you, Katy, moving to a new facility. A perfect beginning for a new year! I do hope it is closer to home? I don’t think that was mentioned, or perhaps I missed that.

  3. Dear Katy, Stan, Anna, Sarah, Elisabeth and your families,

My families and I — the Nigros, Daileys, and O’Briens — have been praying for and with Katy and all of you since I received the first email from FAS. We have cried and grieved and rejoiced with you during this journey.

Katy, you are a hero to me, and an angel (sweet, but equally strong!), and you always have been. You are one of the kindest, most godly people I will ever know, and you are and always will be close to my heart. The Lord’s light and His love shines so brightly through you, even in this trial, and I know that He is working untold blessings and miracles in this, many that we can see already. Please know that we will continue to walk this journey with you in prayer.

Our hearts and spirits are joined with yours as we pray for God’s will to be done in everything, great and small, and ask Him for a complete and speedy healing for you Katy. We are thanking Him for that even now.

    We love you all,

    Lisa Ferguson

  4. P.S. Wanted to share with you that my grandmother, Connie Sperrazza, who will be 95 years old next month (!), is also praying for you! She loves the Lord! 🙂

  5. Dear Katy, I’ve been praying for you & your dear family, from the beginning of your ordeal. The daily posts have been so very helpful. Rejoicing with you as you can now swallow and are leaving the hospital for rehab!!!. A favorite Christian song that has ministered to me, especially over the last 3 years since Sandy went “Home”, is Mark Schultz’s “He Will Carry Me”. It’s on you tube. If you listen, I hope it will encourage you. I’ll continue to lift you up to our precious Lord, who promises to hold, help. sustain and carry us. And He does! Sending my love and hugs to you and your family!
